Edwin Mack Sheehan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin Mack Sheehan of Dothan, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin DeWitt and Maude Ziglar Sheehan; his wife Janelle Clark Sheehan; his sister Marjorie Sheehan Berry; and his grandson Jason Grady Dooling.
He is survived by: his children, Jan Cavell (Brooks), Mark Sheehan (Kathy) and Clark Sheehan (Janet); his grandchildren, Brandon Cavell (Jennifer), Steven Dooling (Lauren), Courtney Sloop (Chris), Rebecca Caine (Tim) and Luke Sheehan (Anna); his great grandchildren, Kate, Claire, Cooper Cavell, Mackenzie, Ellie Dooling, J. J. Quinn, Pearce, Charleigh Kate Sloop, Edwin "Teddy" Caine and June Lee-Sheehan; and his sister Francis Sheehan Rice. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (3012 W Main St, Dothan, AL 36305).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to "The Feeding Faith Ministry" at First Presbyterian Church, 3012 West Main Street, Dothan, Alabama, 36305 or to the Student Learning Services program at Providence Christian School 4847 Murphy Mill Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
