She was predeceased by: her parents, Harmon D. Douglas and Daisy Clements Douglas; her husband Edward H. Spivey; her son Eddie Spivey; and her siblings, McGartha Nelson, Genelle Joiner and Dewey Douglas.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Owens (Ben Welborn); her grandchildren, Justin Owens (Jessica), Kelton Welborn and Heather Owens; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Douglas and Nell Odom.
