He was predeceased by: his father Lafayette Burke; his daughter Terri Lynn Hudspeth; his granddaughter Sabina Hartley-Burke; and his brothers, Earl and Don Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Burke; his son Jimmy Mark Burke (Judy); his grandchildren, Jessica Luloff and Lynsey Hudspeth; his great grandchild Madalynn Bishop; his goddaughter Heather Leslie; his sister Dewana Daughtery (Garland); his sisters-in-law, Brenda Eldridge (Phil), Pat Carr, Gwen Burke and Helen Burke Ryals; and his daughter Sheree Blackmon (Mitchell).
