She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brannon and Edna Brannon; her son Randy; her daughter-in-law Sally Emerson; her grandson Jason Hughes; her great grandchild Magen Hughes; and her siblings, Betty, Turman, Shelby, Steve and Tommy Ray.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hughes (Jerry), Gail Strickland (Todd Kirkland), Patricia Patterson (Shawn), Terry Emerson (Elizabeth) and Kevin Emerson (Amanda); and her grandchildren, Derick, Michael, Tracy, Cody, McKenzie, Daniel, Tyler of Alyssa, TJ, Aaron, Brian and Hannah. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
