He is survived by: his daughter Jasmine Peterman of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Taysean Cartwright of Greensboro, Rashad Williams of Greensboro and Brooklyn Williams of Greensboro; his wife Francis Louise Peterman; his sister Marva Peterman of South Orange; his nephews, Donald Peterman of Abbeville, Alabama., Marcean Peterman, Marcus Peterman and Matthew Peterman; and his niece Melissa Goodman. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
