She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Smith and Ester B. Lattimore; and her siblings, Nathaniel Thornton and Annie Lee Thornton McCray. She is survived by: her son Nathaniel Lattimore; her siblings, John L. Thornton (Rosie), Barbara Johnson of Mobile Alabama and Roselyn Helms (Hilton) of Louisville, Alabama; and her nieces, Zandra Danzy and Tiesha Thornton. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
