She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Boutwell and Eula Boutwell; and her spouse Lamar P. Day. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Lapides, Kathy Buckley (Bob) and Steve Day-Auburn (Karen); her granddaughter Karen Oliver (Enayat); her children, Christa Norris (Stephen), Zack Buckley (Chelsea), Ryan Day-Atlanta and Garrett Day; and her great grandchildren, Anna Gordon, Maya Oliver, Cameron Norris and Ella Buckley.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Grandview Baptist Church Building Fund, 2400 Forrester Road, Dothan, Alabama 36301.
