She was predeceased by: her parents, Thornton Cooper and Virginia Burt Cooper; her brother George B. Cooper; and her husband Earl Herman Carpenter (Hum). She is survived by: her brother Marion H. Cooper (Celeste) of St. Petersburg; her stepson Eric Todd Carpenter; her nieces and nephews, Callie Cooper Fold (Eric), Tommy Cooper (Amanda), Anna Catherine Cooper and Emma Grace Cooper; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Cooper and Gail Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (3216 W Main St, Claremont, NC 28610). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
