We announce the death of Helen C Scarborough of Dothan, Alabama, born in Geneva, Alabama, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 78. Helen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Houston Boyette, Walter Boyette, Dorethy Cochran and Francis Coker. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Scarborough, Allen Scarborough, Paul Scarborough (Libby) and Josh Scarborough (Leona); her grandchildren, Will Scarborough, Griffin Scarborough, Tyler Scarborough, Parker Williams, Courtney Wilkins, Ne'Vaeh Scarborough, Ny'Ryan Scarborough, Leah Scarborough, Olivia Scarborough, Jamie Daniel and Lyric Daniel; her siblings, Joyce Patterson (Derrell), Sarah Mothershed and Earl Boyette (Mary); and her caregiver Laura. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
