He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gaston and Katie Mae Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Pearleen Gaston; his daughters, Tiffany Williams, Destiny Lewis, Yaminnh Lewis and Jasmine Lewis; his sisters, Inayah Wafiyyah Abdussalaam (Wynel Avia Gaston) and Donna Gaston; and his siblings' children, Tatiana Williams, Khalil Abdulrahim, Fatimah Abdulmateen, A'ishah Abdulmateen, Khadijah Abdulmateen, Inayah Abdulmateen and Elicia Gaston.
