He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy Helms and Mary Elizabeth Thrasher Helms; and his sister Agnes Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Helms; his daughters, Lawana Parrish of Dothan, Kimberly Ferguson of Dothan and Cristanna Sevec of Dothan; his grandchildren, Austin Ferguson, Nathan Parrish, Lila Parrish and Madison Sevec; and also D'Aun Meherg.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Glover Funeral Home-Dothan (1468 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36301). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
