He is survived by: his wife Sally Tillman Griggs of Dothan; his daughters, Heather Sherie Griggs Harley (David) of Greenville, SC and Anna Catherine Griggs Cornelius (Clark) of Dothan; his stepsons, Scott McLelland (Tina) of Maui, HI and Chase McLelland (Stacey) of Pensacola, FL.; his siblings, Stewart Griggs (Nanci) of Cartersville, GA, Margaret Griggs Green (Bill) of Dothan and Beth Griggs McNeal (Bobby) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Sierra Harley, Amery Morehead Delamarter (Marc), Eve Morehead, Linden Morehead, Ava Morehead and Isabella Morehead; and his aunt Sara Griggs Elliott of Madrid.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Memphis Baptist Church (4595 Eddins Rd, Dothan, AL 36301). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
