She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Howard Shelley and Jewel Bradshaw Shelley; and her siblings, Maggie Ruth Morris, Sybil May, Billie Shelley and James L. "Spud" Shelley.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Floyd Herring; her son Donald H. "Don" Herring (Karen) of Troy, AL; her grandsons, Mitch Herring (Leigh Ellen), Zack Herring (Tori), Garrett Herring and Ross Herring; and her great grandchildren, Livy Herring, Margaret Herring and Eloise Herring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Dothan Women's Ministry, 300 West Main Street, Dothan, AL 36301.
