He is survived by: his children, Jerry Franklin Brown, Jr. (Ellen) of Lewisville, TX, JoEllen Reeves Brown (John West) of Destin, FL and Ashley Odom McGhee (Jason) of Dothan; his son-in-law Howard Miles of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Jarred Reeves Brown (Jennifer) of Coppel, TX, Samuel Ward Patton of Boston, MA, Sarah Lynne Patton of Helena, Benjamin Carroll Patton of Homewood, Anna Bentley McGhee of Dothan and Charles Franklin McGhee of Dothan; and his great grandchildren, Harper Brown, Holland Brown, Henry Brown and Hayes Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Glover Funeral Home and Crematory (1468 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
