She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew White and Pearl White (Williams); her husband John M. Weatherington; her children, John Weatherington, Jr., Rosie Weatherington Duncan and Carolyn Davis; her grandchildren, Bobby Jennings, Jr., Dwanna Danzey, Kelly Danzey and Stephanie Gadlin; her great grandchild Breunia Jennings; and her siblings, J. V. White, A. D. White, Mary Lemons, Lottie White, Nettie Pearl Jones, Lois Witt, Bobbie Lee Carroll, Mae Helen Thomas, Geraldine Long, Ollie Beachman and Dorothy Thomas.

She is survived by : her children, Sylvia Coleman (Eddie), Sherry Danzey-Brooks, Cathy Jewel Vance, Nadine Freeman (Miles) and Craig Bernard Weatherington (Tamami); and her daughter-in-law Lisa Weatherington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350).
