He was predeceased by: his parents, Melton Allgood and Emma Beasley Allgood; his son Jeffrey Allgood; his brothers, Cullen Allgood and Joseph Allgood; his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Brunson, Erleen Wiggins, Bobbie Whitehead and Mae Helon Friant; his mother-in-law Annie Mae Herring; and his pet Malibu.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Herring Allgood; his daughter Laurie Allgood; his daughter-in-law Charlotte Allgood; his granddaughters, Bonnie (Colten), Abbie (Martin), Courtney (Brian) and EmilyAnne (Lake); his great grandchildren, Archer, Campbell and Collins; and his siblings-in-law, George Herring (Muriel), Dot Curry, Martha Pope and Martha Allgood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or to Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
