He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl Clemmons and Juanita Ethridge Clemmons; his wife Mary Clemmons; his son Derryll Glen Clemmons; and his sister Yvonne Ellison.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Brent Clemmons and Sherryll Clemmons Smith (Troy); his brother Bobby Clemmons (Mary); his grandchildren, Trevor Wood Smith (Summer) and Mallory Wise (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Madelyn Walker, Rylan Smith, Autumn Smith and Kinsley Wise.
