It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Dewayne Wilson of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Melvin Goodwin and Opal Grace Paul Goodwin; his sons, Dean A. Wilson and Robert Dean Harris; and his siblings, Jack Wilson and Linda Wilson.

He is survived by : his wife Sandra Wilson of Dothan, AL; his sons, Damon Wilson (Rachel) of Enterprise, AL and Adam Wilson (Kisha) of Cowarts, AL; his grandchildren, Britney Wilson Wallace, Chandler Wilson, Brandon Harris, Christopher Harris and Jessie Harris; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Laiklyn; and his siblings, Gary Wilson (Nancy), Rita Horner and Joyce Ditto. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peel Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Community Church (1662 Bethlehem Church Rd, Bonifay, FL 32425).
