It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Frank Hughes of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Faye Hughes; his daughter Phyllis Gassett (Tom); his grandchildren, Seth and Leah Gassett; his pet Charlie; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Grubbs (Billy), Shirley Smith (Richard) and Mildren Gulledge (Oscar).
