With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Davis of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on June 20, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Davis and Docia Joyner Davis; his wife Marie Davis; his daughter Hazel Dozier; and his son-in-law John Sims.
He is survived by: his daughters, Helen Sims and Karen Whatley Bullard (Terry); and his grandchildren, Tammy Whitehurst, Terri Lynn Baxley (Eric), Jeffrey Sims, Britt Sims (Amber), Tim Dozier (Cammie), Tony Dozier (Nicki), Pat Dozier (Shelina), Dr. Chad Mann (Haley), Caleb Mann (Jeanie) and Cara Powell (Adam Powell).
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Taylor Assembly of God Church Cemetery (131 Rice Rd, Taylor, AL 36301).
