With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Feagin Merrill (Dothan, Alabama), born in Dozier, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. Merrill and Clara M. Merrill; and his pet Raider. He is survived by: his significant other Peggy White Merrill; his daughters, Kimm McMichael Creel (Steve) of Dothan, AL and Kara McMichael Harner (Mike) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Ryan of Los Angeles, CA, Jack of Atlanta, GA and Will of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Choice Hospice, a service group close to the family's heart, 966 North Claxton Avenue, Elba 36323.
