With sadness, we share the passing of Kenneth Edwin Horton in Dothan, Alabama. Kenneth, born on December 31, 1957 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Horton and Mary Lee Horton; and his brothers, Henry Carl Horton and Johnny Ray Horton. He is survived by: his son Kenneth "Ray" Horton; his siblings, Vanessa Horton Young, Leon Horton (Geraldine) of Tuscaloosa, Larry Horton of Tuscaloosa and David Horton of Tuscaloosa; his stepmother Mary Louise Horton of Northport; his stepsiblings, Danny Ray Barron and Ethel Robertson; and his brother-in-law Dr. Ken Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
