He was predeceased by: his stepfather Doug Killingsworth, Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Aloma Killingsworth and Larry Rudolph Kirkland, Sr.; his sister April Kirkland Stansberry (Mike); his niece Skylar Tucker; his uncle Ron Givens (Pat); his aunt Aquilla Kirkland Mims; his son Larry; his stepbrother Doug Killingsworth, Jr.; and his aunt Alayne Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Herring Houses of Dothan, 101 N. Herring St., Dothan, AL 36303.
