She is survived by: her friend Wilton Thompson of Ozark; her children, John M. Sherer, Jr. (Kristin) of Dothan and Allison Sherer Hart (Kirby) of Dothan; her siblings, Sam Cherry (Sharon) and Gloria Cherry Sorrells of Dothan; and her grandchildren, Caroline Baker (Christian), Mary Ellen Hart, Annie Hart, J. Sherer, Patrick Sherer and Shelby Branch.
