It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Pettersen of Dothan, Alabama, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Vinson Shipp. She is survived by: her children, Paul A. Murphey, Frank Warren Murphey, John V. E. Murphey and Marilyn Amelia Stansell; and her grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth, Virginia, Shoichi, Kazuyuki, Jackson and Ben. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
