She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Cook and Essie Donnie Kornegay Cook; her stepdaughter Candi Michelle Long; and her siblings, Jean McCord and Jack Cook.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Long of Taylor; her children, Mike Kent (Carol) of Taylor, Paula Middleton of Las Vegas and Kelli Sue Middleton of Taylor; and her stepdaughters, Stephanie Lee Long of Dothan and Amanda Ann Worthy of Dothan. She is also survived by grandchildren; a few great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel (1468 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36301). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
