With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavis Henderson of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pinkard Ervin and Vera Sawyer Akridge; her granddaughter Mary Catherine Arnold; her great grandchild Bailey Arnold; and her brothers, Willie Hasting Akridge, Barney Lloyd Akridge, Leonidas Akridge and Clifford Akridge.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Henderson (Rea) and Karen Bradshaw (Mike); her grandchildren, Wendy Chancey (Michael), Christin Graham (Lewis), Blake Arnold (Lisa), Elizabeth Tindell (Adam), Jennifer Shirley (Charlie) and Marx Henderson; and her brother Clennie Akridge (Mary).
