It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Bontrager of Dothan, Alabama, born in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Keith Bontrager (Pam) and Tammy Barna (Richard); his siblings, Barbara Bernice Bontrager, Sharon Miller, Paul Bontrager, Maurice Bontrager and Gene Bontrager; and his granddaughters, Kayla Lemire (David) and Shanna Birdwell.
