Melba Shouppe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Shouppe of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melba Shouppe to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Avant and Bessie Avant; her husband Louie Shouppe; her grandson Cade Shouppe (Wheeler); her sisters, Imogene Edwards and Geraldine Bennett; and her son-in-law Gerald Burlison.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Shouppe (Debbie) of Headland, Bill Shouppe (Sue) of Cottondale, Jackie Burlison of Dothan, Wanda Bass (Lamar) of Opp, Cathy Williams (Richard) of Chipley and Jeff Shouppe (Kim) of Placida; and her sister-in-law Ann Perkins of Cottondale. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Melba Shouppe, to the Women's Ministry (WM's Women Group) and the Bible Study Class as follows.
