It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joe Johnson of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on March 21, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey Joe and Marguerite Ann Ott (Margaret); his grandparents, Leonard and Mildred Johnson; his uncle Billy Johnson; his siblings, Donald Johnson and Donna Kay Johnson; and his granddaughter Ivie MaKayla Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Sheree Piercey (Jerry), Tammy Phillips (Darryl) and Kelly Brackin (Shon); his grandchildren, Hunter Broxton (Cidney), Heath Prater, Caleb Prater (Vivian), Blair Piercey, Logan Piercey, Cheyenne Piercey, Gabe Brackin (Grace), Katie Jo Cushman (Jesse), Haley Whittington, Douglas Newman and Dustin Newman; his great grandchildren, Mason, Carter, Carson, Tyler, Layla, Tatum, Dayton of Amani, TJ and Graham; his brother Tony Johnson (Wanda); his nephew Josh Johnson; and his pet Lily.
