He is survived by: his wife Grace White Rookard; his children, Michael Andrea and Tracy Rookard-Shaw (Brandon); his grandchildren, Raheim Elijah Everett, Michael Andrea, Rookard, Jr., Jahbril Hasani Everett, Jamel Arlin Rookard and Janae Alena Rookard; his siblings, Ernestine Rookard, Audrey Wyatt, Johnny Wayne Rookard and Thomas Rookard; his sister-in-law Lois Hines Boykins (Jimmy); and his brothers, James "Jim" Rookard and Calvin Rookard.
