He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hood and Jeannie Hood; his sisters, Bereatha Weatherspoon and Elneazer Hood (Bobby Jean Daniels); and his children, Kim and Shonda Hood.
He is survived by: his spouse Avelina Hood; his siblings, Bernice Clayton-Dechant, Roberta Williams, Doris Douglas, Helen Hood and Alvin Hood; his children, Quinton, Derrick Hood and Miriam'Mimi'Hood; his grandchildren, Warren, Damon, Terrell, Kyria and Ezekiel Hood; his great grandchild Kali Hood; his daughter Ruby Jeffs; and his grandchildren, Shya and Capri Jeffs.
