He is survived by: his children, Felecia Thompson (Ray) of Headland, Phyllis Gaydon of Gainesville, Florida, Phillip Patterson of Dothan, Alabama and Alex Patterson (Ashanta) of Dothan, Alabama; his brother Larry Patterson of Headland, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Racheal Johnson (Tyler) of Atlanta, Georgia, Issac Thompson of Augusta, Ariana Gaydon of St. Louis, Sebastian Patterson of Dothan, Alabama, Nicholas Johnson of Dothan, Alabama and Tyler Johnson of Dothan, Alabama; and his great grandchild Drew Ellis Johnson.
