She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Homer Houston Duncan and Rachel Louise Lunsford Duncan; her sons, Joseph Douglas Gomez and Christopher Jay Gomez (Kaycee); her sisters, Diane Duncan and Susie Vanysok (Kelley); and her siblings' children, Sunshine Lavoie (David), Erica Garsik, Rachel Garsik, Sara Garsik and Andrew Garsik.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints (3199 Ross Clark Cir, Dothan, AL 36303). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
