It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Blackmon Sr. of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Zack Blackmon and Francis Brown Blackmon; and his brothers, Edward and Billy J. Blackmon. He is survived by: his daughter Janice Turman (Late-Harry) of Stockbridge, GA.; his siblings-in-law, Lillie Mae Jackson, Rena Mae Morris, Everlene Lewis and Michael A. Trawick (MayEthel); his grandchildren, Shereta Blackmon, Jolando Butler, Denice Durr, Felton Porter, Kanika Blackmon, Jason Blackmon (Alexis), Matthew John L. (Late), Durr Jr., Janay Blackmon and Kawon Tyler Blackmon; and his great grandchildren, Christian, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Eian, Nala, Gavin, Lennox, Grant, Kamryn and Chloe.
