Randal Gates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randal Gates of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Michael Mesologitis (Gates) of New York City and Jacqueline Ann Gates of Pennsylvania; his wife Jeanné; his stepfather Gino Vannicola; and his sister-in-law Lenie Taylor.
He is survived by: his stepfather Jeff Wolkins of New Port Richey, FL; his siblings, Tom Taylor of Durham, NC and Kathy Allis of Vestal, NY; his sons, Michael Alan Gates and Brennan Randal Gates (Isha); his grandson Elliott Michael Gates; and his brother-in-law Thomas Rosano Jr. (Kim) of Macon, GA. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Harvest Church (2727 Fortner St, Dothan, AL 36305). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harvest Church of Dothan (2727 Fortner St, Dothan, AL 36305).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Randy's memory.
