It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhonda Elaine Aplin of Dothan, Alabama, born in Houston, Alabama, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Fortson and Gladys Fortson; and her brother Ronny Fortson. She is survived by: her husband Lamar Aplin; her sons, Andrew Aplin (Brenda) and Steve Aplin (Alyson); her grandchildren, Ben, Bryant Aplin, Claire and Claudia Aplin; and her siblings, Iris Williford (Freddy) and Bruce Fortson (Sharon). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
