He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Robert V. Boone, Sr. and Adelle Shute Boone; his wife Rhoda Solomon Boone; his daughter Elizabeth Boone Carver (J. G.) of Vestavia Hills, AL; his brothers, David Boone and Mike Boone; his grandchildren, Catherine Carver, Emory Carver, Lucy Carver, Cas Boone and Pearce Boone; and his siblings-in-law, John W. Solomon (Jill) and Jeanie Nordan Solomon.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Headland Methodist Church (103 W King St, Headland, AL 36345).
