He was predeceased by: his father Oliver Eugene. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Imogene Theune (Beltz) of Dothan; his wife Dawn Theune; his children, Tyler Theune (Jordan) of Pensacola, FL, Connor Theune of Birmingham, Brad Dunning of Dothan, Mary Hannah Owens (Damon) of Dothan and David Dunning of Dothan; his grandchildren, Sydney Theune, Olivia Theune, Chapman Dunning, Florie Dunning, Betsy Dunning, Lachlan Owens, Adem Owens and Calum Owens; and his sister Sue DeJulius (Mick) of Dothan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (1380 W Main St, Dothan, AL 36301). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Dothan County Club (200 S Cherokee Ave, Dothan, AL 36301).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the In Christ's Name Fund at First United Methodist Church, 1380 W. Main Street, Dothan, AL 36301.
