We are sad to announce that, on September 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Robert Wayne King of Dothan, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil King and Jonelle King; and his brother Joe Max King. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jenkins King; his son Jeff King (Melissa); his granddaughters, Lisa King and Kristie King Gilmore (Britt); his great grandchildren, Jesse King (Rachel), Elijah King, Josiah King, Malia and Erik Gunnarsson; his grandsons, Nicholas Richards and Luke Gilmore (Shelby); and his great grandchildren, Henry, Annie Dale King, Norah, Braden and Asher Gunnarsson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Operation Christmas Child at Heritage Baptist Church in Dothan.

“I have just found out about Wayne's passing. As a first cousin I was closest in age to his brother Joe Max but closest in spirit and greatly looked up to and respected Wayne. Thankfully shortly before his death we enjoyed a lengthy phone conversation sharing about his love of traveling out West and mine of travels out West and Europe. We talked of getting together soon and perhaps even meeting out West. Sadly that will not happen. Very sad that his brother Bruce was not mentioned in obituary”
