We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2022, at the age of 83, Robert Kearney Kirkby of Dothan, Alabama, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Kearney Kirkby; and his siblings, Dale Kirkby and Mary Ellen Kirkby. He is survived by: his wife Helon Kirkby; his sons, Steve Kirkby (Chrissie), Kevin Kirkby (Kathy), Jeff Kirkby and Will Murphy (Ashley); his grandsons, Anthony Kirkby (David), Todd Kirkby (Tia) and Wesley Murphy; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Peyton and Briella; his sisters, Ann Barden (Hernan), Pat Eland (Tom) and Cathy Ott (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Kirkby, Freida Spikes (Jimmie) and Henry Dale Smith (Lesa). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to First United Methodist Church, 1380 W Main Street, Dothan, AL 36301.
