It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Merton Timmerman (Dothan, Alabama), born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Merton Timmerman and Virginia Smith Timmerman; his parents-in-law, Leonard Cecil Kinsey and Vire Kinsey; and his brother-in-law Wes Kinsey.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Kinsey Timmerman; his siblings, Scott Timmerman (Jill) and Sally McCrea (Keith); and his sisters-in-law, Sherie K. Pinkard (Hoyt) and Donna S. Kinsey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephew.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 14th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Randolph Memory Gardens (64930 AL-22, Roanoke, AL 36274). Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed.
