He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Horace and Marcella Kennedy; and his grandson Paxton Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Kennedy of Dothan; his son Dale Kennedy of Dothan; his brother Bill Junior Kennedy (Joan) of Leeds, AL.; his grandchildren, Dustin Kennedy (Heather), Cody Kennedy (Courtney), Kay Kennedy and Braxton Kennedy (Savannah); and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Taylor, Annabeth, Karaliese, Juliet, Ellie Jane, Cayden, Chloe, Colton and Mary Martin (Susan Nand).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
