He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hughes; his children, Vince Hughes (Stacey), Lisa Merritt (Jerry) and Ellen Tidwell; his daughter-in-law Wendy Morris; and his sister Mary Eldridge (Leonard). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
