He was predeceased by: his father Isaac Jackson Messick; and his daughter Michelle Hartsfield. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Messick of Birmingham; his children, Nicole Messick of Dothan, Lee Messick (Krystal) of Dothan and Adam Messick (Julie) of Dothan; his grandchildren, Lane Messick, Keaton Messick, Madison Messick, Noah Messick, Ann Kathryn Hartsfield, Reed Hartsfield and Will Hartsfield; his niece Kimberly Jones (Bucket); and his daughter-in-law Krystal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
