She was predeceased by: her father William T. Shurett. She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Leatherwood (Barry) and Jennie Murphy (Scott); her grandchildren, Emily Murphy, Alex Murphy, Carson Murphy, Julianna Murphy, Abigail Leatherwood, Preston Leatherwood and Isaac Leatherwood; and her siblings, Bill Shurett (Rebecca) and Becky Shurett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
