She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Albert and Arlene Harriett Ahrensmeyer Huntley; and her children, David Thompson and Marian Thompson Wynn. She is survived by: her husband Max Thompson; her granddaughter Melissa Wynn; her son-in-law Doug Wynn; her sisters-in-law, Janice Thompson Woods and Gail Thompson; her niece Marie Thompson; and her nephew Brian Thompson. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
