She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell J. Nowell and Maldrie Mae Peacock Nowell; her husband Cecil G. Harrell; her son Tony Harrell; and her siblings, Runnette Lynch Dione, Grace Campbell and Omar Nowell.
She is survived by: her close friends, Peggy and Ed Fails; her children, Sylvia, Roy Gross of Cowarts, AL, Susan and Martin Marsh of Dothan; her grandchildren, Eddie Gross of Cowarts, AL, Eric, Jennifer Marsh of Pinckard, AL, Bethany and Shane Wise of Dothan; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Caiden Marsh of Pinckard, AL, Sabella and Finn Wise of Dothan; her brothers, James, Sandy Nowell of Campbellton, FL and Larry Nowell of Cottonwood, AL; her sister-in-law Donna Nowell of Graceville, FL; her siblings' children, Rhonda Lynch Pipkin of Dothan and Ronald Lynch of Dothan; and her caregivers, Jada, Shea, Ellen, Desiree, Carolyn, Valerie, Laura and Colby.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice in memory of Virginia.
