She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Nichols, Jr.; and her siblings, Jack Speed, James Speed and Genella Scott. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Walker and Thomas Nichols, III; her grandchildren, Nicholas Walker (Brittney), Jonathan Walker (Mary) and Thomas Nichols IV; her great grandchildren, Tiler Walker, Jackson Walker, Isaac Walker and Cora Walker; and her close friends, Patsy Creel and Jan Arthur (Richard).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305).
