He was predeceased by: his parents, Reedy Patterson and O'zeal McGrady Patterson; his daughter Tina Neathammer; his great grandchild Rebecca Turner; and his sister Margie Sanford.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Patterson; his children, Connie Boggan (Larry), Tracy Mitchell, Russell Patterson and Harold Turner (Teresa); and his son-in-law Rick Neathammer. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren; his eight great-grandchildren.
